I’m bored with the common and the basic. I want to create something out of the ordinary; something no one has thought of. I want to work with a media undiscovered, but I have to remind myself to take baby steps. I’ve always heard timing is everything, so I intently wait for my chance.
Clay has been around since the dawn of man, but to me it is a new media, possibly the ideal media for me to step outside the box. In ceramics we create things I’ve only dreamed of. This media allows me to bring my doodles to life.
This weekend my main objective is to create a unique totem. My mind has been spinning with ideas all day. I have decided to make my totem a mixture of different subjects, portraying how cluttered with ideas my head is. Unconnected subjects coming together to create a work of art, a piece of me.
